Brinda Wachs

Executive Director

Brinda Wachs is the Founder and Executive Director of BeautifulMind Consultants, Ltd. She is a Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist at the CG Jung Ambulatorium in Zürich and in private practice near Geneva. Formerly at the United Nations in Geneva and an Advisor to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Kenya, she has a Diploma from the CG Jung Institute of Analytical Psychology in Küsnacht, an MA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. She studied drawing, painting and sculpture at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Genève and recently completed her thesis entitled “Creativity and Desire: A Journey Toward Psychic Transformation”.

Stephen Asatsa

Community Relations Director

Stephen Asatsa, PhD is a Co-Founder and Community Relations Director of BeautifulMind. He has a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) where he is a part-time lecturer. His research and practice is focused on trauma and grief. He is a global leader on the Student and Early Career Council (SECC) division of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD). He is also a member and one of the developing country fellows for the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development (ISSBD).

Constance Tipis

Finance Director

Constance Tipis is a Co-Founder and Finance Director of BeautifulMind. She has experience as a drug and addiction counselor and is currently a Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at the United States International University – Africa (USIU-A). She is also a Co-Founding Director of DoubleDees, a ladies’ inner wear design company.

Annika Ouko

Communications Director

Annika Ouko is a Co-Founder and Communications Director of BeautifulMind. She is currently a Master’s student in Counseling Psychology at Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). She has experience in addiction counseling and currently works as a Kindergarten Teacher at the German School of Nairobi. She also runs Toto Angel Centre, a children’s home in Nairobi.

Mtheto Kadoko Hara

Training Director

Mtheto Hara is a Co-Founder and Training Director of BeautifulMind. He is an international educator currently working at Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He has experience in teaching and counseling adolescents as well as designing and facilitating international training workshops in South East Asia, East Africa and Southern Africa. He did his undergraduate and graduate studies at Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
